The summer awards season has been kind to Clearinghouse authors and editors, with three books receiving a total of four awards:
- Jessica Nastal, Mya Poe, and Christie Toth’s edited collection Writing Placement in Two-Year Colleges: The Pursuit of Equity in Postsecondary Education recevied the 2022 Council of Writing Program Administrators Best Book Award.
- Chris Anson and Pamela Flash’s edited collection Writing Enriched Curricula: Models of Faculty-Driven and Departmental Transformation received the 2021 Council of Writing Program Administrators Best Book Award. The book also received honorable mention for the award for 2023 Best Edited Collection on Writing Across the Curriculum.
- Heather M. Falconer’s book Masking Inequality with Good Intentions: Systemic Bias, Counterspaces, and Discourse Acquisition in STEM Education was selected as the 2023 Best Monograph on Writing Across the Curriculum.
