Since I began playing sports I have always been drawn to soccer. It is a big part of my life and will always be. I have played soccer for 16 years and I will continue to play and watch it for the remainder of my life. Soccer has recently discussed certain measures that could change the game. The question is being asked, should instant replay be used in soccer games? I have always thought that instant replay should be used in the soccer world. It is needed to help determine controversial calls and prevent blown games. There have been so many games that have been determined on the wrong call that instant replay can fix. Instant replay is in use in most of the major sporting franchises such as the NHL, NFL, NBA and PGA. My qualifications for writing this paper is my experience of playing and watching the game. I am an avid fan who is familiar with all the rules of the game. I am always reading news to inform me on the new ideas of FIFA. 

One of the major changes in the sporting world is the development of instant replay. It has changed many sports by providing overturning and game changing calls. Many sports have adapted to instant replay. Games are ruined by blown off-sides calls, incorrect penalty decisions and a bunch of other mistakes. This article argues how instant replay should be used for soccer games. This article states how the NFL has been used for 15 years in the league and has been praised for its success. There are also other examples of blown calls that could have been prevented if instant replay were used. It has been questioned as to why soccer needs replay. It is one of the oldest sports in the world and has become the most famous sport in the world without it. While this is true, it can be argued. In today's world the technology is available to enhance and better the game. It is argued that isn't could potentially ruin the flow of the game, which is a possibility. However, if this new technology were to work it would prevent major loses because of blown calls. With instant replay the game would become more reliable and not left up to one man and a split second decision. The technology is already being considered and is being prepared for testing. This technology can revise all the errors of the game.
