Turn on the TV there is Trump, check twitter and there is Trump, look at Facebook, more Trump. The name cannot escape the newsrooms or the social media outlets. Trump has become the talk of the nation when he threw his hat into the ring and has become the most feared candidate in the race. In previous years Trump has somewhat jokingly said he would run for president but this year he has stuck to his word and joined the politics of America. In Trump's first couple months of campaigning, controversy struck the nation with Trump's plans for America. Such plans include building a great wall to keep out illegal aliens and creating a database on Muslims to identify them. Newscasters discuss about his campaign and how he has gained so much support for his views. Most citizens cannot believe the support that has grown behind Donald Trump's campaign because of his racist remarks and his "believed" hatred toward others. Even though Trump has been ridiculed with statements, articles and protests against him, his campaign is becoming increasingly popular over the election because of his controversial plans, that he is not a politician but a successful businessman, and he says what needs to be said.

The beginning of Trump's campaign was that of joke, that a celebrity was running president, but soon after news reports he was running and Trump proved that he would be a promising candidate. Some of his first statements were about the handling of immigration and National Security against ISIS. Some say that Trump's comments were for show to get certain votes from the Republican Party, but citizens soon learned that Trump is his own self-interest. Another controversial comment made by Trump were the remarks as he announced his run for the Republican nomination for president at Trump Tower Atrium in Manhattan, Trump said "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people", Trump starts the election race with that statement and it shocked the nation. If any other candidate had started with that same statement it would have been the start to the end of their campaign, but not for Trump. He gained the support he needed to progress his campaign. Trump asserts that he will build a great wall on the southern borders that will be too tough to climb over and to dig under. Trump was asked a question about the wall at a press conference in Palm Beach, Florida, he explains how Mexico will pay for the wall, "There is 2,000 miles of boarder but we only need 1,000 miles for the wall ... Mexico is going to pay for the wall, we have a trade deficit with Mexico that is 58 billion dollars a year ... 58 billion dollars a year. The wall is only going to cost 10 billion dollars" (Right Side Broadcasting) it will only take one year of Trump's term to come up with the money and profit to build the wall. When in office he wants to motion for a mass intensive deportation on all illegal aliens in the United States. There are currently over 11 million illegal immigrants and Trump wants them all deported even the children who were born here and have automatic citizenship, Donald Trump and his followers want to deport more than 11 million people. Nearly two thirds have lived here for more than 10 years, set down roots, and about half of them have children who are American citizens by birth ... would cost between $400 and $600 billion and take some 20 years to accomplish." (Chavez) Chavez opposition claims that it is morally not right and it is expensive and time consuming. But Chavez fails to mention that with the mass deportation jobs will open up for legal citizens, and federal spending on visas and green cards would go towards the deportation and the surplus from Mexico's trade deficit would match the funds to afford mass deportation. Not to mention the welfare, and healthcare funds spent on the millions of illegals that is the hardworking taxpayers' money. Trump wants to do this because illegals are blood suckers, taking jobs for less pay than minimum wage, which contribute below the minimum amount of improvement towards the economy. The cartel bring and distribute drugs to the country from over the broader which leads to crime, and violence. The way to stop this Trump explains is to send them all back along with their drugs and violence. Trump has also stated that Muslims and Syrians, should be banned from entering the country, due to National Security. His plan for Muslims is that there would be a temporary ban on letting Muslims into the country and to install a database for Muslims to keep tabs on suspicious activity. A letter written to The Guardian talks about a Trump supporter who is gay and Muslim, "I even support the temporary ban on Muslims, even though I still have many law abiding family members in Syria who deserve the opportunity to come to the US and escape the horrors of the war. We don't vet these people properly. To let them in willy nilly is ludicrous ... he may be the best thing for moderate average Muslims. He is not our enemy, he is the enemy of the globalist Wahhabi cult that has propagated mass violence and murder throughout the world." (The Guardian) Trump is bringing this topic to reality, even though it is unfair, the dangers and risk the country takes by letting Muslims in is too high. This plan would be an extra line of defense against terrorist's attacks. Another controversial issue is that Trump has spoken in support of the utilization of torture methods such as waterboarding. Waterboarding is a form of torture that stimulates drowning but does not actually drown the individual. This form of torture and other methods would provide intel from prisoners that would give an advantage in the war with ISIS. Trump's outlandish plans have gained an immense amount of support from the "silent majority", for they like that Trump is approaching every problem like a businessman.

Trump's campaign has grown in popularity over the election period is because he is not a politician but a successful businessman. There has been a lack of trust in the government for Americans and are looking for a change to reignite that trust, " ... and trust is exceedingly low among Republicans right now. All of that creates a perfect environment for a Trump to arise right now in the Republican Party. Lack of trust in government means Americans particularly non-Democrats may be particularly willing to vote for an "outsider." Similarly, as Hetherington explained, Democrats were willing to vote for the "outsider" Obama after eight years of a George W. Bush presidency. Obama and Trump's rhetoric may be vastly different, but Americans' willingness to vote for change even if untested is the common factor here." (Kurtzleben) giving Trump a great shot at presidency. For the business aspect, Trump has built countless companies and has been making deals since he was young. Trump has more experience in running a business than most men can say and running a country is the same as running a business. The government's product is legislation and policies, negotiating foreign affairs is just cutting a business deal, and making sure the customers are happy is making sure the citizens are happy. Trump does not back down when negotiating a deal because he simply hates losing and aims for a win-win for both parties to benefit. Trump plans for creating jobs by bringing back jobs taken by overseas' cheaper wages. For example, Ford Motor Company moved its factory to Mexico for the cost of labor was cheaper, they hired Mexican citizens and engineers with college degrees. This is not right that an America company is operating in another country while unemployment continues to increase in America. Trump's plan is to tax Ford Motor Company at 35 percent for every car coming from Mexico until they decide to move their plant back into America. Similar plans could work for other companies that are operating in China and India. Trumps presidency will provide an increasing amount of new jobs, which might jumpstart the economy. In the past forty years there has only been political careers candidates and not a single business man candidate. Citizens want the change of a different aspect, one that is not the same mundane political leader who has no back bone or knowledge to get anything significant done. Trump being a successful business man is self-funding his campaign which is rare because most candidates cannot afford to do so, so they rely on donations and PACs. Like any business, the government needs run efficiently, Trump will have his top notch staff, of his choosing, to make sure that the government runs efficiently. Trump will demand high performance from every aspect in our government. If there is someone who is not meeting those standards you can bet that they are going to get a famous "You're Fired!". Trump is going to run this nation like a business and that is how it needs to be done. America is rolling over no more, Trump is going to flex the muscle that is America and become that backbone for when deals need to be made. Trump knows what needs to be done when conducting a complex deal, he understands the stakes and the consequences that will come after the hands shake. You have employees and managers, broad members and executives all debating on what is best for the country. As a business man trump has his own agenda. He will not be persuaded by lobbyists and interests, he is his own self-interest. There is no wasted time with a business man for time is money and Trump plans to make every day in office prosperous. Trump grew his businesses with his attitude of saying what he wants to say and does not care about anyone in his way.

Trump has a way of saying whatever is on his mind not caring about being politically correct or afraid of backlash, and even so he still receives popularity in his campaign. Trump has gone into this election focused on taking out the competition and he has done so with his on the spot witty remarks towards other candidates. So far Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, Chris Christie, and Jeb Bush have all dropped from the race against Trump, this shows that Trump doesn't let anything get in his way. But to why people enjoy his "not afraid attitude" is that people who feel voiceless and can rely on him to bring up the controversial topics. Trump has brought to reality that Americans fear Muslims and that a precaution has to be taken against them in case of a terrorist's attack. Rhetoric plays a big part in Trump's speeches at his rallies, he goes onstage and almost performs a show that entices a certain kind of crowd. All of Trump's rallies are open to anyone and everyone, including protestors, Black Panthers and the Ku Klux Klan. At Trump's rallies violence would often break out when a protestor was getting to mouthy and be asked to leave by Trump himself. Usually on the way out pushing and shoving would occur, "Jeff Marshaus, a 53-year-old truck driver wearing a plastic Trump sign, was upset with the coverage of individual Trump supporters, like the elderly man who was arrested after striking a protester on video this week. "It's thousands of people -- he can't control everyone," Marshaus said." (Sarlin) this violence breaks out because Trump entices the Working middle class to his rallies. The middle working class feels threatened by illegal immigrants therefore side with Trump on sending them back to Mexico. The demographics at these rallies contain mostly white men and women with no college degrees, including authoritarianism brought in white supremacists. When you add protestors to the rally it is going to result in violence, but it is not Trump's fault and does not condone violence. The media knows the Trump that gets up on stage and acts confident and cocky, but it is all a show, ""You know how Ben Carson said there were 'two Trumps?'" Frederick James, a retired military police officer who served in three wars, said. "There's the serious side and the joking side." ... "Maybe he needs to tone it down, but it is part of his gimmick," he said. "When he's in office this will die down, but he's doing what he needs to do to get elected."". (Sarlin) Trump's charisma is what sets him apart from the other candidates, no one would pay attention if he did not act the way he did. He does not play by political rules or has any political correctness what so ever. Trump calls everything by the truth, he was the one that brought up the banning of Muslims for the safety of the country. Not a single candidate would have brought it up because it is a topic that gets swept up underneath the rug by politicians, for they fear the backlash of political correctness. Others including that illegal aliens are a problem and that Hillary is a criminal and should be behind bars. Trump's popularity comes from his executive nature. In Mayer's article "Why Trump -- and How Far Can He Go?" he explains why, "Lots of Americans are thus strongly attracted by the prospect of a man -- or woman -- on horseback: a bold, decisive individual who will sweep away all the quibblers and naysayers, the obstructionists and the special interests, and just get something done." (Mayer) Mayer then goes into how Trump's role on the TV show, The Apprentice, was a perfect fit portraying a hardened, full of authority executive that fired anything that got in his way. Trump is the voice of the American people, the voice that every other candidate is scared to use to reveal the truth about the country.

Donald Trump is the right candidate to pick for to be president. His simple solutions to hard problems show, that his practice as a business man making quick, decisive, decisions is just who we need to be President. The fact that he is an outsider that follows his own agenda, citizens can rest easy knowing that he will not be corrupted by lobbyists and self interest groups; he is his own self-interest. Trump is determined to improve the life quality and the society of the United States by bringing jobs back from overseas and overseeing that illegals are no more. He will negotiate new and better deals in foreign affairs with Mexico, China and Japan. The branches of government will run smooth as a machine when Trump is in office. Trump continues to gain support from his followers and in the process Donald Trump will "Make America Great Again".
