The topic of how social media affects young adults mental health catches my interest because I am currently growing up in the age of technology. Technology is being integrated into every aspect of everyday life from computers and cell phones to watches and tablets. This research question does not affect my moral values in any way however I do have experience on the subject. Living in an age of technology once something is posted on the internet everyone and anyone is able to see the post. This being the case I have witnessed posts of people getting bullied online. And like many others I know one year I witnessed a video on youtube of someone who had recently commit suicide telling their story before the tragic event happened. I can be considered an authority figure on this subject because growing up in this day and age technology its just apart of my everyday life. Being a young adult I am obsessed with constantly being social and engaged in conversation with my peers, so my phone is always within reaching distance. Which makes it easier to access all of my social media accounts via cellar device .
