I'm interested in this question because I'm a big fan of sports in its many kinds, specially bodybuilding. For me, I consider this topic as one of the sports values' main topics. I have an opinion that performance enhancing drugs are cheating, it takes out the soul of the sport, and the fans won't see the "real" performance from the athletes; however, there are some people who believe that it should be legalized and it's not considered cheating at all. I wonder why? From a personal experience, I have some bodybuilders friends, some of them use PEDs, and some of them don't. I always hear those who don't do doping talks about how they shouldn't be compared with who uses PEDs, and whenever you ask them "Why?" they simply reply by saying that "We don't use performance enhancing drugs, and they do". Does that make them incomparable? In this essay we will know why it should remain illegal, or why it should be legalized.

In this video, the speaker didn't focus on the values of sports, instead, he focuses on the scientific side of using performance enhancing drugs. He mentioned and explains scientifically how some PEDs have no major effect on human strength or endurance. And he also mentioned some bad side effects.

In this video, the major claim of Piana is that there is no scene to illegalize PEDs because they are safe. He compares steroids with alcohol, and argues that alcohol is legal and it's killing too many people, but steroids doesn't kill you.

He also states that if a baby took a bill of steroids he won't die because of it. Finally, he reports that if it was legal it will be safer because it will be monitored by doctors and experts.

Richard Pound was interviewed about the doping in sport topic. He reports that the blame shouldn't be only on athletes who uses PEDs, but people who encourage them should be blamed to, such as coaches, team officials. etc.

He also states that every sport should be monitored because every sport is in "risk" of doping

Some athletes take some performance enhancing drugs without having that much of knowledge about their risk. Others believe with some results that are not even exist; for example, some athletes take Human Growth Hormone, which is know as HGH, expecting huge difference in their power, strength and endurance. Where the truth is that HGH by itself only stimulate bones and muscle growth.

As many people, Piana Rich claims that steroid is not dangerous because it doesn't kill people. Nobody said that steroids are dangerous because they result in death of the consumer. They have many bad results and impacts. To illustrate, steroids lead to testicles shrinking, impotence and heart damage. For women they lead to facial hair growth, acne, liver damage and changes or stopping of menstrual cycle.

If the moral, or the credibility of the sport was taken, then people are not going to do it, or even support it. The solution for the spread of doping in sport is to inform people of the sport and what does it really mean. We need to know who is coaching our kids, and take care of them since they are young.

In this video, the speaker seems really informative about the topic that he is talking about, he was giving some scientific information with its recourses, he had some statistics, and he also mentioned some research from different university to support his credibility. The information he explains is just some facts that encourage the listener not to use PEDs, and he also called those who do "Cheaters"

The speaker is Piana, who is know by Rich Piana. Piana is a famous bodybuilding champion, he has some experience with PEDs; however, that doesn't give him that much of credibility, and as we can see, his arguments are week and no one can say that these arguments make scene or even logically true. He finally reports that PEDs shouldn't be illegal.

It's an interview that was taken with Richard Pound, the former president of the world Anti-Doping agency, and the former vice president of the international Olympic committee. This guy has a great knowledge in this topic because of his experiment in the field of doping. Obviously he doesn't support legalizing PEDs in sports.

The research question is arguable because there are a huge number of people who support legalizing PEDs is sport, and they have their reasons; on the other, there are many people who don't want PEDs to be legal, and they also have their reasons. Some of my resources argue for legalizing PEDs, others are arguing about PEDs as a current problem that needs to be solved. My personal perspective of doping in sports didn't change, I believe that people who support doping in sport have some good reasons for that, and many other reasons that don't make scene.
