Out of sight out of mind holds true for more than just tangible commodities. Education, although often overwhelming, is often overlooked. In terms of "overlooked", I am not questioning the attendance of each roster or the teachers that take that very roll each morning for these positions are just the midsection and tail of the snake. America's system is set up for greatness. Not only do we cater to the public, everyone that is, but for the most part our system is ready to ascend. With some fine tuning, America should be at the top of education. America's biggest challenge with be the size of the beast it has created. Instead of slaying this dragon of monstrosity, if we can merely learn to tame it and bring it under the use of our very own then we will be well off.

With such a systematic approach, America overlooks what could be of great outcome if it tailored to students a bit more supple. As of today, America ranks far away from the podium in almost every subject. Not just this, but America doesn't have the innovations in order to make an excuse for not being at the top of conventional subjects. America's school system is sufficient, but that does not give it an excuse to quit due to its contempt. In fact, for every percentage of the population that obtains a degree, the government spends 1.4 billion less on crime management. Not only does crime go down, but so do the rates of famine. School is without a doubt an enhancement to our nation, but what if we found a way to embellish the students experience as well?

In this show, a member of a news-crew is interviewed in front of hundreds of college students. The question of "Why America is the Greatest Country?" arises. Will Macovoy, the one who is asked the question, errantly states that America is not longer the greatest. However, he does state that America used to be and that in order for America to climb the ranks once more, America must first acknowledge that there is a problem.

Suli Breaks, a student who posted a YouTube video in 2012 now has over over 7 million views. In his video, Suli Breaks explains why he loves the act of learning, but hates school because it has bereaved him of this very love. He explains that while school's system is quite successful, it could be so much better and that for this very reason he is panged.

In this study, the salaries of people with different degrees are explored. The study shows that the higher the degree obtained, the higher the salary. With these statistics, it is shown in just one of the many ways that education is a student's futures biggest ally. With this said, I believe that along with an obtainment of education there could coalesce a freedom for students to truly pursue and find their passion and learn what makes them happy in the scholarly realm.

In conclusion, I believe that schools are merely blowing the dust off of the surface of their potential. It cannot be argued that Schools are a necessity. However, it can be and to me, is of certainty, that America's school system is under-embellished. If America can find a way to loosen its educational contours, American students will be resuscitated of their scholarly asphyxia. School should be the brother of learning, not the father of stress, test taking, and systematic-in-the-box thinking. With this said, I am all for the skeleton of our system, but if we acknowledge the famine of our student's curiosity then we can not only keep the success that we already have, but we can also build upon this very premise.
