What is racism, why is there is so much racism going in today's society and how can we avoid it or get rid of it? Those three questions are important when is come to talk about racism. Racism in America started around the 17th century and it was mostly racist towards the African American people because their skin color, in today's world, there are many different racist groups around the world but mostly in America. Racism is wrong, because God create us all equal not matter what color our skin is. In order to fully understand racism you must look back into history like slavery, or poor people and understand why there is so much racism. One of the main reasons is why we have racism because privilege over other groups, and this is not only in human species but all the species in this world. Everyone wants to have power in their hands, and this is why there is so much racism going in this world.

In 1950's, Segregation of whites from blacks was commonplace, demonstrating to African Americans that they were inferior to their neighbors. Blacks used different bathroom facilities, and weren't allowed in white restaurants. Amidst all of this racial turmoil, emerged Martin Luther King`s speech. In King`s speech he expresses that it`s not just the racial equality, we face here in America, but also the world. King says, "All over the world like a fever, the great masses of people are determined to end the exploitation of their races and lands" (King Jr.). King explains that it is not just blacks here in America oppressed by whites, but that white oppression exist outside of the American boundaries. That not only African Americans, but all oppressed people must stand up. King exclaims, "In country after country we see white men building empires on the sweat and suffering of colored people" (King Jr.). The tyranny of whites all over the world motivates King as he is determined to fight back. King properly names his speech "The World House" as he realized that we all are in this together. With the horrible acts that had taken place in America, and across the globe, King realizes something must change. He explains, there is no race against another race, but a needed unity of mankind to improve the world as a whole. All of these things contribute to King`s speech, allowing him to draw greater energy and direct it at the people that have the power to drive change.

Racism can be divided into many types and here are some way of racism can be separated. First way is aware and blatant racism, example, racist just come out and say to a person because they're skin color or age or they're looks. Second, covert racism is when being racist, but just not saying it. Third, talking about unaware and unintentional racism, racist tries to apologize for all the racism, but not fully apologize then continues it again. Forth, are self-righteous, racist attempts to tell people of color what issues they have to deal with in their communities? In today's world, racism changed very much so maybe it hasn't. There is still racism towards black people in America, but there are other different cultures in American's are racist towards. After bombing of World Trade Center in 2001, American shifted their racist toward Muslim and all the peoples wearing turban. We Americans call all the Muslim and people with turban them "Terrorists" because of their cultures, clothes they wear, where they are from, and most importantly there skin color. There is still racism towards black, example, in Emanual African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, on June 17, 2015. A gunman, killed nine people during the prayer service, and gunman later confessed that he committed the shooting in hopes of igniting a race war. I think, Donald Trump have said and uncharacteristically silent when responding to Republican candidates "Trump led the "birther" movement challenging President Obama's standing as a natural-born American; used various vulgar expressions to refer to women; spoke of Mexico sending rapists and other criminals across the border; called for rounding up and deporting 11 million illegal immigrants; had high-profile spats with prominent Latino journalists and news outlets; mocked Asian accents; let stand a charge made in his presence that Obama is a Muslim and that Muslims are a "problem" in America; embraced the notion of forcing Muslims to register in a database; falsely claimed thousands of Muslims celebrated the 9/11 attacks in New Jersey; tweeted bogus statistics asserting that most killings of whites are done by blacks; approved of the ... ..." (Dana Milbank). As you can see, its fears of reverse racism are concentrated primarily among political conservatives and encouraged on a near daily basis. Trump's barely coded appeals to racial resentment and strongly among Republican voters and no matter what happens to him, he will mainstream white victimhood as a political force to be reckoned with the future.

Even though racism in America is not towards blacks people, it's till major problem in our communities. We are racist to many different cultures and which makes other cultures angry with us. America is the most un-liked country the world unless Mr. Trump becomes the next President then its gone by most racist country in the world. Most of racism is towards the Muslim community after the 9/11 attacks. American thinks they have good in intentions, but not really. Racism was a huge problem in American 50 years ago, even though in today's society we will show racism has changed but it didn't.
