Finding a job, in our economy out of college is getting more and more difficult. Illegal Immigrants should never be allowed into the United States without a license and especially shouldn't be allowed to get a job and be paid for it. This topic is very interesting in my opinion because I live in Texas and we have borders of Mexico near us and there has been more Hispanic population in the area. The question that I have is "Do illegal immigrants cause a toll on the US economy and do they take jobs from US citizens.'' I know a family friend who has hired illegal immigrants for cheaper labor, which is nice because you make more money because you pay less for labor. Whereas if they were in US citizens they would probably wouldn't work for anything less than minimum wage. This isn't moral in my opinion except I think it is alright because they came into our country illegal and also can cause more than just economy threats, such as terrorist attacks making citizens feel unsafe.

A source I used for illegal immigration is the Economist, "Under-age and on the move" is a credible source because this article was in the magazine the economist. This is a highly ranked magazine it has key information about politics and business so information so if it was not correct they wouldn't post it in their magazine because they have a reputation to uphold. The articles main claim is Obama is easing the border control for younger children, that are trying to escape the violence in their city. Although we should take away from this article to be humane and let kids who are illegal heading to our country come in. I think this is a bad idea because then we will have to have more foster home and pay to take care of them with using the tax money that we pay. I still take away key information that Obama right now has eased the gateway to the United States especially younger children and mother. Although people on the opposing side wouldn't care how harsh of climate they have been through to make it to the United States.

The argumentative article chose is from The Atlantic, "Americas Immigration Challenge" by David Frum. The writer of this piece make the information credible because he used to write for George W. Bush and the insider magazine. He has a lot of common knowledge from working for George Bush and being the writer he should have a better scoop on what they would be thinking about several different topics. The major idea for this was we should worry about who we let into the country to protect the citizens from more likely chances of terrorist attacks. The big ideas gotten from this is that the citizens are speaking of having more concern on who we allow into this country. This is so relevant now because of the refugees wanting to come in our country from when their country has people who have threatened ours before. Why should we be forgiving and look like a nice country as Obama is portrayed to wanting to allow this. We should be worried about our country before anyone else's come into play.

Lastly the other article is "5 Theories About the Economic Effects of Illegal Immigration You Shouldn't Trust." By Roque Planas. The articles main statement is theories considered by us that are incorrect and how immigration should be back into the spotlight. This article may be bias a tad because it is the Huffington post in terms of a Latino, which would of course lead to protecting their own kind. Although I believe this is good to have a different perspective to have a counterargument in my paper. The main points this article brings up is how undocumented immigrants are not effecting our economy and taxes and how they bring down the pay of lower wages.

The research question, "Do illegal immigrants cause a toll on the US economy and do citizens feel danger from letting them into the country?", this isn't just a yes or no question there will be three sides to this argument but no extremist points of view. My prospective is an extreme one where would should never allow illegal immigration in our country. They should be fined or arrested and sent back to there country. Some arguments would be it takes peoples jobs away and cause higher security risks in the country. Although disagreements would be they help with cheaper labor and bring some peace to the countries. My question may need to single out one of the topics and not be so broad.
