Water pollution is one of the world’s worst forms of pollution. And it has been an increasing problem over the last few years. First of all what is water pollution? And what are the effects of water pollution? Water pollution is the contamination of water bodies (e.g. lakes, rivers, oceans, aquifers and groundwater). This form of environmental degradation occurs when pollutants are directly or indirectly released into water bodies without satisfactory treatment to expel unsafe mixes. The main issue created by water pollution is that it kills life that depends upon water (e.g. human beings, and fish, etc.). Because of this people and factories should stop polluting the water to save themselves and the sea life.

There are so many differences between clean and polluted water, one of them is the natural view of the living animals and plants under water. As it was shown in photos number one and two, there is a beauty to life under water when it is clean, which creates a perfect living environment for underwater species. Also the color of the water in the first two photos is blue and all the living animals and plants underwater have those bright colors. Then comparing these photos with photos six and seven it is clearly noticeable the differences. The view is awful also the fish are dead. Also the colors are dark and show sadness on the photos obverse the first two photo, which show happiness. That leads us to think about the effects of water pollution.

There are so many ways the water gets polluted by; some of them are oil industry, factory’s waste, sewage, and waste settlement. First the oil industry, everything about the oil industry—drilling, moving, laying pipeline, shipping—opens up the possibility for water pollution. From rigs that are compromised by foul weather to freight ships that have inadvertent spills, the harm is never purposeful, however it's still one of the significant threats confronting clean water and marine life. As it shown in photo number four that harmful view of a ship that spilt some oil over the water and caused a huge damage for the water. The photographer took a long shot on this photo to show how the spilt of the oil is spreading out and also to show us the different between the polluted water and the clean water on the top right corner of the photo. Second the factories are dumping waste in water. The chemical wastes from factories to the water also cause a huge damage for the water.

Third the effect of dumping the sewage water directly to the sea or the ocean destroying the body of the water. At the point when toxic substances enter a body of water, they will be broken up, get to be suspended in water or get saved on the bed of the water body. The subsequent water contamination causes the nature of the water to break down. Poisons can likewise leak downed impact groundwater stores. As a result of this, toxins enter groundwater, streams, and other water bodies, which ultimately end up in our households, the water is often highly contaminated and can carry disease-causing microbes. That was shown in photo number five when the sewer pipes are seeping the sewage directly to the water. This close shot was purposed to show how dirty the sewage is and the black color of it. Also to show how the sewage change the color of the water from blue to dark yellowish-green color. Finally waste settlement, which is human activity that creates residential or household waste. These residential wastes take years to molder on the water. Specially detergents because it is difficult to be broken down so that it will remain active for long periods in water, polluted water and poisoned the various aquatic organisms. Also it could result in preventing sunlight that is preventing the process of photosynthesis from aquatic plants and algae, which produce oxygen, as it shown in photo number three. The photographer here took a close shot right under the surface of the water to show the bubbles that appeared because of throwing the bottle to the water the to prove the harm of the waste settlement to the water.

The effects of water pollution are extremely unsafe to people, animals and water life. The impacts can be cataclysmic, contingent upon the sort of chemicals, convergences of the contaminations, and where there are polluted. Many water bodies close to urban areas are highly

polluted. This is the aftereffect of both garbage dumped by individuals and dangerous chemicals legally or illegally dumped into the water. That causes death of aquatic animals, which was shown on photo number seven for the dead fish with dark skin color because of the polluted water, and diseases. Moreover, people can get diseases by eating seafood that has been poisoned. In many poor nations, there is always outbreak of diseases as a result of poor drinking water treatment from contaminated waters.

An example for a polluted river is the Yamuna River in India, which is in photo number six. This river caused a lot death cases for poor people because of drinking from the river. Also the plant that has been grown with water from the Yamuna River is polluted and not safe to be eaten. That pollution killed almost all the living animals in the river and also caused diseases for both people and birds that drink from the Yamuna River. It is classed the most polluted river in India. As it shown in the photo that the garbage is thrown in the river and a women is standing behind the garbage. The photographer took a medium shot here from the garbage corner to let us focus on the garbage than see a woman behind it. The shot was purposed to let us get that feeling of how sad is what happened to that river.

The last photo was added as an advice and conclusion for the essay. The colors that was used on the photo is bright colors to show the happiness in the photo and also the fish is looking to the reader to touch him/her feeling and to tell him/her that the water is the home of the fish and he/ she should be careful about it. Finally the purpose of the essay was to show people the different between the water before and after the pollution and to advice them that they should care about the water and keep it clean.
