For something to have meaning is to give a value to words or images. Meaning is something that every single person will define in their own personal way based on who they are, where they come from, and what they have experienced or have been taught in life thus far. This image is a clear example of why someone should be careful while judging someone from looks, because in fact looks aren’t everything. Living in the 21st century it can be noted that men have actually just gotten more disgusting over the years. Nowadays most men will go after the girl with the looks and that is what is so dangerous according to the picture above. To me this picture through the use of color and lines perfectly depicts that you shouldn't judge someone by his or her looks because it is possible that behind that beautiful face, a demon exists, which can destroy you.

Colors play a huge role in establishing meaning of an image. Certain colors connote specific feelings or associations. Thus, color schemes greatly impact the meaning of an image or collection of images. One might think that color doesn’t play a huge rule in this picture because there aren’t many colors to the image, but just because there are only a few colors doesn’t mean it’s any less important. The three main colors that are depicted in this image are pink, white, red, and black. Pink can be found in her lip color and on her tank top, and it represents a sort of tenderness and sensitivity, leading to the observer feeling a sense of innocence and purity from the girl in the image. But it should be noted that you only see this pinky color on the “outer skin” of the girl, as if you were looking at the girl in person you'd be deceived because you don’t see her true colors, but instead only what can be seen on the outside through her looks. White can be seen on her tank top but also on the outer shadow of the girl, almost like a glowing white shadow. The white on her tank top symbolizes purity and youngness. Because the same as the pink, just looking from the outside you see a pretty, young, pure girl but you don’t see her for her true colors. But as for the white in the shadow it works together with the color red to send a mixed message. It’s like the purity of whiteness surrounded by the warning of red. The warning that beyond those innocent pure looks that you see on the outside lies a demon that will deceive you because you will never see it coming. The blackness in this demon's eyes also demonstrates a sense of evil, power and authority. The evilness can be seen as the betrayal you get from not being able to see that past the pretty looks there is a monster with power and authority that will tear you apart. So it can be noted that even though it’s not a lot of colors, the few colors that are seen in this image do further exemplify how there is so much more to a person than their looks.

Lines imply motion and guide a reader’s eyes. They also function as a frame or as a means of separating some images/elements from others. Lines can be visible or implied; images can be positioned so that the brain automatically ‘fills in’ a line when trying to establish recognizable patterns. Though there are not many lines illustrated in the image above, there is one that plays a major role in the meaning of the picture. The line that splits her face straight down the middle is what gives the image meaning. Without this line here we would just see an innocent looking, pretty young lady. The line in this picture creates a sense of delusion and introduces another image that we would otherwise not see. Without the illusion of the line we would just see her for her looks, and since she is an attractive woman most people will just generally assume she’s pretty and nice, but the line helps to show us her true colors and that looks aren’t everything because beyond those good looks could be a not so good person but you'd never know it by just looking at them. That one line determines the meaning of the whole entire picture. Without the line there would be nothing to see besides some ordinary attractive looking female. This woman is not this innocent figure that she portrays herself to be on the outside, she's a deceiving devil that you will never see coming, and that is what makes her so dangerous. So all in all, the line is what gives this picture the most meaning that there is so much more to a person than their looks.

Even though an image might not have words, through the use of art, colors, and lines a message can be conveyed to the person observing it. And indeed like the picture displays, there is so much more to a person than looks. If you find yourself judging someone strictly based on physical aspects you never know what you're getting yourself into because you never know what is beyond those good looks. For all you could know they could be the opposite of what their looks give off, and that is why the moral of this paper is to never judge someone by their looks.
