Through a very bold yet depressing design the founders of this ad, successfully conveyed an attention worthy advertisement about famine in Africa. The color, angles, symbols, text, and setting were key aspects in this creative and effective advertisement which raised awareness. This specific advertisement seems to be displayed at an isolated bus stop. The isolated bus stop conveys a deeper message as it connects to the main issue of the advertisement. By looking at main text in this advertisement we can see the creator's support behind ending world hunger focusing directly on Africa. This is important because the creator's purpose was not to only to bring to attention this issue of hunger but to also make the audience experience a sense of guilt. The advertisement appearing at deserted bus stops makes one aware that they have overlooked the fact that everyone is not as privileged as they are. This sense of guilt in return is supposed to make one feel proactive in supporting the cause.

The most striking feature of the advertisement is the color. The color is important as it creates depth and emphasis on the subject of matter. The colors that are prevalent in the advertisement are silver, black, and blue. The colors create a mood that is very sad but assertive. Before even reading the advertisement the audience instantly becomes influenced by physiological effect of the colors. As a result of the color scheme chosen one becomes very sympathetic to what is being advertise. The color silver brings out a sense of guilt as it creates a very emotional, sensitive, and mysterious feeling. The color black was chosen as it demonstrate something secretive or hidden. By using the color black it help to make one feel that this common issue of famine in Africa was easily overlooked. The color blue suggest loyalty and integrity which ties in to making one feel like they need to be proactive in supporting the cause. Due to the fact that these colors are being used the advertisement instantly stands out. While analyzing this advertisement one can see how bold and straightforward the advertisement is. The angle in which the advertisement is displayed draws emphasis on the main idea, which is the text of the advertisement. Dominance is created, as the free space within the advertisement makes one focus on the text alone.

Within the advertisement symbols are very important as it creates a subject of which the text is based on. The two symbols used is the logo of the company Apple, and the silhouette of the continent of Africa. In the advertisement each symbol appears to be on the back of what looks like the back of an apple product. Each text purposefully correlates to the importance of the symbol. In this advertisement the Apple logo is directly above the text "One dies million cry." In this setting the Apple logo, which is a silhouette of a bitten apple represents the United Sates, as this nation is viewed as a nation that overeats. The symbol and the text work together to shows how materialistic the United States has become. The first two words of the quote "one dies million cry" brings to one's memory when the Chief Executive Officer of Apple, Steve Jobs died. Many were sadden by this as he was the creator of something that they hold so dear to them, something that was a key component in their lives, their Apple electronics. Many Americans are dependent on material things and have become accustomed to this technological world. As we buy technology many forget about the unfortunate realities of the lives of others who are unable to buy food just to survive.

However, directly below the silhouette of Africa the text reads "million dies no one cries." Indicating that many lives are lost in Africa but not a lot of people care. Thus creating a vision that people unconsciously value materialistic things more than the lives of others. This is unfortunate because a life in Africa is perceived as unimportant or something that lacks respect. Hunger has been a prominent issue in Africa which needs to be resolved. The founder of this advertisement sees this issue as something that is overlooked as the setting of the advertisement is at an isolated bus stop. However, by using an isolated bus stop the advertiser is also able to draw focus on the main subject as there is nothing else to focus on.

This advertisement is directed mainly towards American citizens to raise awareness for hunger, primarily in Africa. It is a reality check as one becomes sympathetic as they realize that they have more respect for material things rather than for the lives of others. This advertisement conveys a message that the creator of the advertisement cares about starvation elsewhere, but really has a heart for those starving in Africa. By using Apple's logo many individuals are able to relate as they may be owners of some type of apple product. This advertisement was meant to be made straightforward as one can obviously see that the creator of the advertisement supports the moral value of world hunger, as it is very important to them. The lines are used well as they are displayed as the poles within the advertisement. The poles separate the two different symbols and text as it creates some type of division. This way the text and symbol in each section is thought of together, so that the audience can make a connection.

The creator did a great job of making the advertisement appealing as it is well balanced and repetitive, as many of the shape are repeated throughout the advertisement. In addition the founder did a great job with spacing allowing the advertisement to breath. The space worked as an asset drawing more attention to the text of the advertisement. As a result with spacing one is unable to become distracted when reading the advertisement, but instead is interested the reading the text. The text becomes very interesting as the size of the text is smaller and is not covering the majority of the advertisement. By doing this it makes the audience interested in what the text is saying as the size of the text makes the reader pay more attention to what is being conveyed. The space of the advertisement and the size of the text works perfectly together to grab the audience attention. Overall, this advertisement successfully conveyed a message in a very powerful way that was very effective, grabbing the attention of the audience.
