Ever since Taco Bell started its breakfast menu, they have amplified there attacks on McDonald's breakfast menu. In one of Taco Bell's ads "Taco Bell Retinue Republic", Taco Bell uses military clowns, disgusting round sandwiches, and a big plastic ball pit and a plastic slide to symbolize the McDonald's way of a breakfast. Taco bell uses those ideas to create an environment to betray a dictatorship that makes everybody do the same retinue. As the commercial goes on the people are forced to get a typical circularity sandwich with a loud speaker saying "same is good, change is bad." A way Taco Bell attacks McDonald is using there iconic mascot, the clown, to force the people to eat there breakfast. Taco Bell also uses the dictatorship setting to greatly show how the breakfast burger is round and boring. In the ad the circular shape of the sandwich is emphasized, cleverly Taco Bell uses the hexagonal shape to symbol the Taco Bell breakfast. By using the hexagonal shape to represent there breakfast, this make their product distinctively different from the McDonald's breakfast product.

As McDonald is leading the market in morning breakfast, people became used to the same menu and products that McDonalds had. Taco Bell used this idea in their ad against McDonalds to represent the same routine life style and a boring circular sandwich. Taco Bell used multiple tactics to simulate the same routine life style by having a dictatorship run by clowns, having militaristic music and posters saying the same things, and forcing people to eat their breakfast burgers.  By having these tactics to represent a routine lifestyle, Taco Bell is trying to convince the viewer that McDonalds breakfast are all the same thing, that they are circular and making you come back to McDonalds because there are the only ones that have Breakfast products. Another affect that adds to the same day routine is the aroura of the McDonalds dictatorship in the ad. In the ad, it is gray, musky and have destroyed building with depressed faces of the people. Taco Bell is trying to demonstrate what the costumer of the McDonalds breakfast looks like in a third person perspective. They use this attack against McDonalds to make the viewer think about their persona and the reason why they do go to McDonalds for breakfast. Then after they see the couple in the ad go the Taco Bell side, to see the happy faces and the vibrant color of the place, the viewer are compelled to go to Taco Bell for breakfast because it brake them form the same day routine that they were in.            

With the commercial made by Taco Bell, they attack and criticize McDonald's industry by using their own trademarks and symbols. In the beginning of the ad the automated television comes on with a picture of the iconic McDonald clown face holding one of the breakfast burgers. By doing this Taco bell wants the viewer to think critically about McDonalds because of the way Taco Bell presents the clown. Taco Bell uses a militaristic music and a cartoon drawing of the clown that is militaristic to make it seem that McDonalds is a dictatorship.  The ad continue on with showing the clown face solders and the dictator. This is showing a message to the viewers that McDonalds is just a huge company, forcing you to compel to their way of the breakfast meals. Then the ad shows that breakfast burgers are coming from an old buildings and the burgers look mushed up and disgusting. This is showing the viewer that the products that McDonalds are producing are mass produced and the people who are serving to you don't care about the quality of the breakfast burger. This adds to the affect that McDonalds has a monopoly on breakfast meal, so it does not have to care about the satisfaction of the costumer. Then the commercial continue on showing the clowns sliding down a slide and the couple jumping into a plastic ball pit that is very famous from the McDonald's kids play area. Taco Bell is trying to prove appoint that the McDonalds way of serving is for kids and not for young adults. Taco Bell's ad cleverly uses the iconic McDonalds clown to persuade the viewer by making them think that McDonalds is making your life a boring and routine lifestyle.

    In the Taco bell ad the emphases on the circular burger is shown greatly by the intercoms, the posters, and the actual visual of the breakfast burger. In the taco bell commercial the intercoms are reciting the same phrases, that the circular form is good. The outdated posters say the same thing, and when shown the actual burger it was very round and boring. Taco Bell is trying to convince the audience that the McDonald's breakfast burgers are out-of-date and becoming the face of basic breakfast restaurant. Taco Bell uses this round and circular idea to support the retinue lifestyle because of the geometry of the breakfast product is a circle that represent the same day life style. Taco Bell then shows the symbol of the resistance which is the hexagonal shape of the Taco Bell breakfast product. Taco bell is trying to show the viewer that the Taco Bell is the leader of a changing breakfast, that it is different from McDonald's routine breakfast.

Since the fast food breakfast trend has started McDonald and Taco Bell are the top competitor and attack each other constantly. But in this ad Taco Bell used multiple tactics to make the viewer see the way that McDonalds is making their life style routinely by having the same Breakfast burger every day. Taco Bell also did a good job using the iconic McDonald's clown against them, making them look like a dictatorship. They also use the shape of the McDonald's breakfast burger to make the audience think they have a boring life because they eat a basic burger. The ending of the Taco Bell ad highlights the chime and the happiness of the people persuading the viewer that eating Taco Bell Breakfast will make you break your same day routine life style.
