Coca-Cola's newest addition to its line of exquisite products is Coca-Cola Life, a lower calorie, lower sugar beverage that is targeted to people who are looking for a sweet drink but don't want all of the sugar. In the commercial, the couple is excited to bring a new life to their own, as with what the Coca Cola Company is doing with its newest product. According to Coca-Cola's timeline, it has been almost ten years since the company has released a new product to the general public, which is Coke Zero. This new drink is supposed to be introduced as something new and appeal to the general public but also to those who would like to have an option of Coca-Cola that does not contain as much sugar but no aspartame as found in Diet Coke of Coke Zero. Instead of using an artificial sweetener, it uses two thirds the amount of sugar in a regular Coca-Cola and replaces the last third with Stevia, a natural sweetener is found in Stevia leaves. Overall, the commercial tries to show a relationship between introducing a new life to a family is similar to releasing a new variation of Coca-Cola to the world.

The commercial starts out with the viewer seeing a house and Bee Gee's "To Love Somebody" playing in the background, so it gives the idea right of the bat that it is a love story. The viewer learns that there is an Argentinian couple presumably expecting a child, and from how everything is being set up to be child proof, it must be their first child. This detail is important because they do not know what to expect, so they will go through the ups and downs for the first time. It goes straight from the announcement to coming home with the baby and with their friend Babys-R-Us. The commercial then shows various clips about how the baby wakes the couple up at night, how the couple doesn't have time to do things by themselves, the baby making messes on the table and on vinyl records. The clips are all happy moments with the family, nothing about if the child is "bad", it is showing the fun moments, the hilarious moments of the child looking cute and having fun innocently. It is meant to make the viewer have a warm, fuzzy feeling on the inside like when they hold a puppy, they know it is adorable and sweet and you never want to let it go, as long as it is not yours.

Another hilarious part for the more mature audience is the couple making whoopee and the child walks in, followed by a grave look "Oh God, not now" on the couples faces followed by two very unhappy parents and a child watching TV. This shows that parenting gets a little rough at times, and the scene is followed by the child kicking the back of his father's head playfully and the father is playing while working. The wife holds a serious look on her face while she brings lunch and a Coca-Cola Life, finally introducing the iconic "drinking a Coca-Cola and giving the face of pure solace" showing that it is certain to be a Coca-Cola commercial. And as soon as the camera shifts views of the man drinking his Coke, he gives a surprised and excited look, where the camera shifts to his wife holding a positive pregnancy test and a serious look. The man puts down the Coke and gives a mixed look, astonished and perplexed, and his face resolves to excitement and runs to his wife to celebrate the new addition to their family. The commercial ends with the phrase "Destapa Tu Naturaleza", which roughly translates from Spanish to "Uncover your Nature" which means find that natural thing that you like, and in this case it is implied that Coca-Cola Life is a naturally sweetened drink and to provide a new choice.

There is a plethora of symbolism in the commercial, from the ups and downs of having something new in life or the color green, and while some are subtle the commercial overall makes use of all of it. The primary symbol shown is the color green, Coca-Cola has characteristically always been red with white letters aside from the Diet/Zero alternatives, so green throws off many people when they think of Coca-Cola. In every clip the dominant color is always green, such as the furniture in the house or the scrubs the woman wears when she comes from the hospital or the mysterious green slime that covers the vinyl record, and when the bottle of Coca-Cola Life is focused on in the iconic Coke tape, we see that the label is green instead of the iconic red. The green is meant to contrast to the past, in this case give something different to the line of Coke products, and the color green is meant to reference the natural sweetener, since nature is green, and nature has life, the Coca-Cola Life's label is green. The other major symbol is the ups and downs of a product, or the example in this case is the child. The child is a handful that likes to play and have fun no matter what, such as how a product grows and is more widely accepted. Sometimes the child has its moments where he is hard to deal with, as with how products can decrease with popularity. In the end you always accept it because it is what it is and in this case the man loves both his son and his Coke.

The commercial is definitely hilarious and would be popular among the public because it is relatable to parents and it can be enjoyed by all ages, therefore it can be marketed to the general audience. Coca-Cola being the giant that it is, will easily be able to sell its product the public, and is doing very well in Argentina, Chile, and the UK, however it is not widely distributed in the US. This kind of commercial would be widely accepted because of its funny moments and the popularity of Coke, but the commercial also makes a great use of color, symbolism, and its contrast from the iconic Coca-Cola symbol.
